TIRED OF LOOKING SO PALE

From looking at my recent posts I am starting to realize how much I need to start wearing more makeup. On most days I will at least wear mascara, bronzer and lipgloss but I realized from these pics how pale I look even when wearing these products. I have always wanted more color and when I look in the mirror I feel like I look okay but then when I see the pictures of myself, I am not pleased. I have never liked taking pics because I always feel like I look bigger than I actually am. My hubby always makes me feel better by saying people always look bigger in pics. He can be so sweet. Here are a couple of pics where I do have on more makeup those most days. I still need to practice more with the whole makeup technique. I would love some advice!!!

For the past few weeks I have been letting my hair airdry but I decided to blow it out and see what it looked like. Here it is!!!

I have noticed lately that I have become so bored with my clothes and since I am trying to cut back on shopping, I have started wearing more big bold necklaces. I love shopping at F21, ForLove 21 and Charlotte Russe for the big bold statement necklaces. They also inspire me with my own jewelry designs. These are my two favorite F21 pieces right now. You can see my little stinker in the first pic. She is my little diva.

Back From the Beach

Last Friday was my birthday so my husband took me to Virginia Beach. The weather started off terrible but we ended up having a great time. Uhh the water was great. It felt so good being away from the kids and reality. I can't wait to go back and I am already planning a trip to return with the kids. Yeah and excuse the dates. My camera dates are always wrong.

Uhhh I am realizing already that having a blog and a toddler is a hard job. I just did a write up on Ulta Cosmetics and then realized that as my baby girl was handing me something, somehow my post deleted. UHHH frustration

My style varies so much day to day but one thing I always love is earthy, tribal prints. I love purples, browns and tan colors. These are a few tops from my fav place to shop for trendy looks. Athough my husband jokes with me telling me I am not 21 anymore but hey I have seen 50+ looking women in the dressing rooms.

Ecostyler gel is the best gel I have ever used. After I was my hair I will slick some on my edges and I get instant waves. I loves it!!!!! Here are a few pics.

Okay so I thought I would start off by talking about natural hair. I have been natural now for almost three years and I am still learning about my hair. I love following such sites as Mane and Chic and UrbanCurlz. They give great tips on maintaining natural hair and great pics of other naturals.
